Iran is the apparent birthplace of the earliest complex instruments, dating back to the third millennium BC. This collection of pre and post revolution folk songs has such a big value not only because it is so rare and hidden, but it is also a testimony of a political context now forgotten and erased from the history of this unfortunate and persecuted country.
