On September 27, the legendary Terry Riley will play his first German show together with his son Gyan Riley and the only concert in Germany, Berlin, in 2016. Together they are going to present the European premiere of the composition The Shape of Flames.
Taking place in the resonant space of Zionskirche, the program samples from both the synthesis of minimalism, jazz, ragtime and North Indian raga that have come to define Terry Riley's diverse and prolific career, and Gyan Riley's innovative compositional repertoire.
