Nostalgic followers of the defunct Strange Life Records will definitely get some blue butterflies in their stomachs on this new album released by Danny Wolfers under a new project - Occult Orientated Crime. This is just one of his millions of aliases and side projects, but as the title may suggest, we deal with some deep occult music here.

Legowelt started recording Ambient New Age live from 2014 performances in California (listen the mix on the right) and at the end of last year, he launched Nightwind Records, with an ambient long-player, available via his Bandcamp page. One of our favourite picks from this album is Wolfers' own synth-interpretation of Ravel's Bolero, titled Ravellian Mindmelt, and the 37 minutes long Norwegian Raven.

We couldn't agree more and describe the album (and Danny's own intention) better than himself: ''Extremely trippy PRO ambient not just some jumbled up random chiliwave overcompressed 80s retro soggy biscuit jerkoff --- this is PROFESSIONAL AMBIENT - 100% psychedelic drug music with perfectly finetuned selected frequencies to alter your state of mind and take you to complete loss of subjective self-identity: the result of years of experimentation and research''.
