On April 28th, avant-garde music legends Nurse With Wound – Steven Stapleton, Colin Potter, and Andrew Liles, with James Hill as special guest – will play their first Berlin show since 2007 in the stunning Sophienkirche. NWW have been producing cutting-edge mediative drone and ambient music influenced as much by Dada and Surrealism as by krautrock, cabaret and pop for almost forty years.

Following on May 31st, Japanese electronic noise maestro Merzbow joins forces with free improvisation pioneer Keiji Haino and long-time collaborator, the drummer Balázs Pándi, for their first ever concert in Germany. A special collaboration between Heith (Haunter Records) and Jesse Osborne-Lanthier (Raster-Noton) will open the evening. The show is presented in collaboration with the Milanese Macao collective as a preview of Saturnalia Festival (Milan, June 17–18).

The third show will take place in September, featuring the first collaborative project between Pan Daijing, Valerio Tricoli (PAN) and Werner Dafeldecker, and a performance by Argentine acousmatic musician Beatriz Ferreyra.
